The Hånuten ( Norwegian for shark tip ; Russian гора Молчанова Gora Moltschanowa ) is a 2885 m high mountain in the Wohlthat massif of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . He is one of the Skeidsnutane of the Betechtin Mountains in the southeastern section of the Alexander von Humboldt Mountains .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it descriptively in 1958. Probable namesake of the Russian name is the Soviet meteorologist Pawel Alexandrowitsch Moltschanow (1893-1941).
