Héctor Uzal

Héctor Mario Uzal (* probably in the late 1920s; † May 26, 2014 ), also known by the nickname El Cacho , is a former Argentinian football player in the position of defender .

career

Uzal was under contract with the Racing Club in 1946 and 1947 , but only made nine appearances (no goal). In the next three years he played at Club Atlético Huracán , for which he completed 82 missions (also without scoring).

The season 1951 spent Uzal in Peñarol , with whom he in the same season Uruguayan soccer championship won.

After a stopover at the Argentine second division club Unión de Santa Fe (1952), Uzal moved to Mexico , where he was under contract with Club America until 1956 , with whom he competed in the Mexican Cup twice in succession in the 1953/54 and 1954/55 seasons and in 1955 also won the Supercup .

In the summer of 1956 Uzal moved to the promoted CF Monterrey , with whom he relegated from the first division at the end of the 1956/57 season and spent the following three years in the second division . At the end of his career, Uzal succeeded in winning the second division championship in the 1959/60 season and the associated return to the top division, to which the club has been a member since then.
