The Hoehn is a 510.6  u m. NHN high mountain in the Thuringian Rhön in the area of ​​the districts Klings and Fischbach / Rhön , both of which belong to the city of Kaltennordheim .

history

In the Middle Ages, the Fischberg castle ruins were located on the mountain as the administrative center of the Upper Feldatal . In the late 19th century, the mining of basalt began, which is extracted on the west and north flanks by quarries.
