H. August Stadelmann

H. August Stadelmann (born March 17, 1847 in Hanover , † after 1894) was a German bookbinder , writer and photographer .

Life

H. August Stadelmann, who was born in the royal seat of the Kingdom of Hanover , completed an apprenticeship as a bookbinder after attending school and then went on a hike. In the early days of the German Empire , he took over his father's business in 1874.

At the beginning of the 1890s at the latest, Stadelmann lived as a photographer in Dresden . In the photographic collections of the Dresden City Archives there is a photograph of his work dated 1894/95, described on the photo.dresden.de portal as “Sales staff of the Central sales point of the Görlitzer Waren -kauf-Verein zu Dresden, business premises Trabantengasse 7”.

Stadelmann ran a photographic studio in Dresden's Bischofsweg 56 .
