Heenatimullage D. Vidusha Lakshani (born December 28, 1996 in Negombo ) is a Sri Lankan long and triple jumper .
Athletic career
Vidusha Lakshani gained her first international experience at the Junior Asian Championships in Colombo in 2012 , where she finished sixth in the triple jump with 11.96 m. Two years later she won the bronze medal at the Junior Asian Championships in Taipei with 12.87 m and was eliminated from the qualification at the Junior World Championships in Eugene with 12.52 m. The following year she finished seventh at the Asian Championships in Wuhan with a width of 12.69 m. In 2016 she won the silver medal at the South Asian Games in Guwahati with 13.18 m and was fourth at the Asian Championships in 2017 in Bhubaneswar with 13.33 m. At the beginning of September she jumped to seventh place with a new national record of 12.51 m at the Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat . In 2019, she won the bronze medal at the Asian Championships in Doha with a width of 13.53 m behind Parinya Chuaimaroeng from Thailand and Zeng Rui from China. At the beginning of December she won the South Asian Games in Kathmandu in the long jump with 6.38 m and won the silver medal in the triple jump with 13.14 m behind her compatriot Hashini Paboda .
In 2015, 2018 and 2019, Lakshani became Sri Lankan champion in the triple jump and in 2015 and 2019 also in the long jump.
