The Haardtrand - Am Bechsteinkopf nature reserve is located in the Bad Dürkheim district in Rhineland-Palatinate . It is the largest nature reserve in the district. It extends, among other things, over the districts of the city of Deidesheim and the local community of Forst an der Weinstrasse .
The 195 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection by ordinance of March 24, 1992 , extends west and northwest of the city of Deidesheim . The state road L 516 runs to the east .
