Coordinates: 59 ° 35 ′ N , 17 ° 30 ′ O Håbo is a municipality ( Swedish commun ) in the Swedish province of Uppsala län and the historic province of Uppland . The main town of the municipality is Bålsta .
geography
The municipality of Håbo is located on the northern shore of Mälaren .
economy
Due to the proximity to Stockholm , many commuters live in the municipality. Stockholm can either be reached via the nearby European route 18 or use the train connection with Pendeltåg , which opened in 2001 . At that time the extended line to Bålsta was opened.
