The Hadarøy is an electric ferry operated by the Norwegian shipping company Fjord1 . It went into operation on January 2, 2019 on the Sulesund-Hareid line.

It is the shipping company's first electrically powered ferry, with a further eleven to follow. Five of the hulls were commissioned from the Turkish Cemre Shipyard. A minimum energy consumption and the lowest possible CO 2 emissions was the aim in the development and construction of these ships. The hull was built in Turkey , the further expansion and equipment was carried out in Norway at Havyard Ship Technology AS.

The ferry can carry around 400 passengers and around 120 cars across the fjord. The battery capacity is 2000 kWh, the drive power is 4 × 500 kW, which act on two Azipods . This enables the ferry to reach a speed of 10 knots.
