Hagen is a town in the Lower Saxony city ​​of Bergen in the northern district of Celle in the Lüneburg Heath . It has 146 inhabitants.

history

Hagen was first mentioned in a document in 1371 under the name Hagene. In contrast to the surrounding heath villages, the number of inhabitants has remained relatively constant over the last two centuries, only after the Second World War did the influx of displaced people lead to a surge in the number of inhabitants. However, this fell back to the pre-war level in the following years.

On February 1, 1971, Hagen was incorporated into the city of Bergen.
