Hain is a district of Kleinfurra in the Nordhausen district in Thuringia .

Hain lies at the western end of the Windleite ridge , which stretches over Sondershausen up to Hain. The federal road 4 uses the gradual natural slope and branches off on the hill near Hain to the north in the direction of Nordhausen . State road 2083 begins in the right-hand bend and crosses state road 1034 down in the Wipper valley . Impassable slopes are forested, the other areas are used for agriculture.

The place was first mentioned in a document on May 18, 876. 250 people live in the agricultural district. The branch church of Hain is a Romanesque hall church from the 13th century with a choir tower and recessed semicircular apse .
