Hajo Banzhaf

Hajo Banzhaf (born May 15, 1949 in Gütersloh ; † February 11, 2009 in Munich ) was a German astrologer , author and editor in the field of esotericism , especially on tarot .

life and work

After graduating from high school, Hajo Banzhaf studied linguistics in France and later philosophy at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster . After a twelve-year career in a Munich private bank, he worked from 1985 as a freelance book author, astrologer and seminar leader. Between 1992 and 2000 he was the editor of the Kailash book series at Hugendubel- Verlag. He has written numerous books on the subjects of astrology and tarot, of which Das Arbeitsbuch zum Tarot (1988) has appeared in twenty different languages. He lived and worked in Munich with his wife Brigitte Theler (1959–2007). Together with her he founded Tarot eV in 2003 - the tarot association for the German-speaking area.

Hajo Banzhaf died of a pulmonary embolism at the age of 60 .
