Hajo F. Breuer
Hajo F. Breuer (born December 6, 1954 in Düsseldorf - † October 17, 2014 ) was a German science fiction author, editor and publisher.
Breuer studied German , English and philosophy and was qualified as a high school teacher. He began his writing career at the German Condor Verlag as a translator for Marvel Comics . From 1983 he wrote the speech bubble texts for the weekly comic series Ghost Stories for Bastei Verlag . In 1989 Lübbe Verlag published the paperback series The new cult figure MAX HEADROOM for the television series of the same name, Breuer was the sole author of the four novels. From 1989 he was editor-in - chief at Hethke-Verlag, responsible for DC Comics until the license expired. From 1999 until his death he was editor of the science fiction book series Ren Dhark , which is available from HJB Verlag .
In 2014, Breuer stood for the AfD in local elections in Mönchengladbach . He succumbed to cancer on October 17, 2014.
