Hallie D'Amore
Hallie D'Amore (born 1942 ; died December 14, 2006 in Los Angeles , California ) was an American makeup artist .
Life
D'Amore has been involved in more than 50 film and television projects since the mid-1980s.
D'Amore was married to the photographer Richard D'Amore. The couple had two daughters together. According to the police, she first shot her husband on December 14th and then committed suicide.
Awards (selection)
Together with Daniel C. Striepeke and Judith A. Cory , D'Amore was nominated for an Oscar in the category Best Make-up in 1995 . They'd worked on Forrest Gump together .
In 2000 she and Stan Winston and Ve Neill were nominated for a Saturn Award in the category Best Make-up for their work on the film Galaxy Quest - Planlos durch Weltall .
In 2003 she received an Emmy for her work on A Question of Love .
