Career

society

Ndikumana started his professional career in 1998 with his hometown club Rayon Sports in Rwanda. But after only one year as a professional there, he moved to Europe, to the Belgian second division club KV Turnhout . After another season he then moved to the Jupiler League top club RSC Anderlecht , where he did not play a single game and left the club after another year. He was transferred to KV Mechelen , for which he played about half the season. Then he played for KAA Gent , where he became a regular player. After two years he moved to the Cypriot association APOP Kinyras Peyias . He then played for several Cypriot clubs, such as Nea Salamis Famagusta and then local rivals Anorthosis Famagusta . After several arguments with the then coach Temuri Ketsbaia he canceled his contract there and moved to Omonia Nicosia . A year later he signed a four-year contract with AEL Limassol . In 2011 he moved to APOP Kinyras Peyias and left the club that same year. Since then, Ndikumana has played again in Africa for various clubs.

National team

Ndikumana played a major role in ensuring that the Rwandan national soccer team made their first and so far only finals in the African Cup of Nations , namely at the 2004 African Cup of Nations . He was voted the best player in Rwanda .

After the 0-1 defeat in qualifying for the 2006 World Cup against Angola , he was initially no longer appointed to the national team because he is said to have helped Angola to qualify for the World Cup. But in 2008 and 2009 he played again for the national team.
