Hanna Scheuring

Hanna Scheuring (born June 15, 1965 in Zurich ) is a Swiss actress and theater director.

Life

Hanna Scheuring was born near Zurich as the youngest of four sisters. After training as an actress at the Conservatory for Music and Theater in Bern , she played for several years in Germany at the Landestheater Marburg and the Theater Trier .

In Switzerland she became known for her role as Vreni in the successful sitcom of the Swiss television company Fascht e Familie . She played in the soap Lüthi and Blanc and in various films, for example Schöne Wochen from Petra Volpe , Der Keiler from Urs Egger , Utopia Blues from Stefan Haupt .

She is always on the stage, for example in the piece Business Class by Martin Suter at the Casinotheater Winterthur . In the 2010/2011 season she played her first solo piece, Grönland by Hansjörg Schertenleib , which the author wrote for her. In September 2012, her first own play, Love, Marilyn (director: Jean Grädel) premiered at Phönix-Theater 81 in Steckborn.

In 2014 she became director of the Bernhard Theater in Zurich .

Hanna Scheuring works as a director and coach and supports people from culture, sport and business with performance skills. She is committed to UNICEF and traveled to Somalia to find out more about the subject of female circumcision . She is the mother of two children.
