Hannah Williams (born April 23, 1998 in Hertfordshire ) is a British sprinter who specializes in the 400-meter run .

Athletic career

Hannah Williams gained her first experience at international level at the U18 World Championships 2015 in Cali , where she finished sixth in the 400 meter final. A year later she reached the semi-finals at the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland . In 2017 she took part in the U20 European Championships in Grosseto , where she won the bronze medal in the 400 meters and with the British 4 x 400 meters relay. In 2018 she was part of the British relay at the World Indoor Championships in Birmingham , where she won the bronze medal behind the teams from the United States and Poland. In the following year she also took part with the relay at the U23 European Championships in Gävle , where she won the silver medal behind the team from Poland in 3: 32.91 minutes.
