Hans-Günther Kaufmann (photographer)
Hans-Günther Kaufmann (* 1943 in Tours , France ) is a German photographer .
Kaufmann grew up in France and Germany. He spent his apprenticeship years in Rome , New York and Los Angeles , and opened his first photo studio in Munich at the age of 18 . He had success as an advertising and fashion photographer, among others for magazines such as Madame , twen and Playboy . For his work on the Camino de Santiago he was awarded the Order of Merit by the Spanish King Juan Carlos . Today he lives in Upper Bavaria and Northern Spain .
He is the older brother of actress Christine Kaufmann .
