Hans-Hermann Langguth

Hans-Hermann Langguth (born November 9, 1965 in Eisfeld ) is a former deputy government spokesman , journalist and PR expert.

Langguth attended the Polytechnic High School " Artur Becker " Eisfeld since 1972 . In 1980 he attended the extended secondary school "Geschwister Scholl" in Hildburghausen, where he graduated from high school in 1984 . From 1984 to 1987 he served in the NVA in Prora and Döbern .

In 1987 Langguth began his traineeship at the Suhl district newspaper Free Word . In 1990 he became local head of the Hildburghausen district editorial office. In 1991 he was already deputy editor-in-chief (focus on state and federal politics). At the same time, Langguth completed the distance learning course in journalism at the University of Leipzig from 1990 to 1998 , with a degree in journalism; Topic of the diploma thesis: "The influence of the Ministry for State Security on the SED district newspapers using the example of the Free Word Suhl". (Diploma in Social Sciences 1991.)

In October 1999 Langguth went to Berlin as spokesman for the federal executive committee of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen . From 2000 he was (additionally) head of the media and public relations department at the federal executive board and from 2002 (additionally) spokesman for the top election campaign team of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen.

In October 2002 he became deputy spokesman for the federal government (under Gerhard Schröder ) and first deputy head of the Federal Government's Press and Information Office (BPA). Due to the change of government, this activity ended in 2005.

Since the end of 2006 he has been a managing partner at the Zum golden Hirschen advertising agency and heads the “Campaigning” department.
