Hans-Jürgen Mende (* 1960 in Wiesbaden ) is a German radio and television presenter .
Life
Hans-Jürgen Mende studied musicology in Mainz and singing in Bern and Zurich . From 1987 to 1992 he worked as an opera agent and artist manager. In 1993 he came to Südwestrundfunk (SWR) and moderated in Freiburg and Baden-Baden in the programs SWR4 and SWR1 until 2001 . He was also the author of articles for all ARD stations and for music magazines, such as the specialist magazine Opernwelt .
From 1995 to 2002 he also presented the programs HR4 and HR1 at the Hessischer Rundfunk in Frankfurt . He was also seen with a live call-in broadcast on HR television. In 2001 he came to NDR . There he mainly works for the radio station NDR Kultur . Since 2002, Hans-Jürgen Mende has also moderated the cultural program of the Bavarian broadcasting company BR alpha / ARD alpha. Here he moderates the TV talk show Forum . Guests were u. a. Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau , Jürgen Flimm , Hildegard Behrens , Anne-Sophie Mutter and others
He is married to the soprano Manuela Uhl and has three sons.
