Hans-Jürgen Pabst

Hans-Jürgen Pabst (born March 24, 1954 in Meiningen ; † May 18, 2018 in Berlin ) was a German actor .

Life

After graduating from high school, Hans-Jürgen Pabst learned the profession of engine fitter. From 1975 to 1978 he studied at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin . He had engagements in Bautzen, Zwickau and at the Uckermärkische Bühnen Schwedt , where he worked with the director Freya Klier . From 1987 Pabst led a street theater group for an indefinite period, after 1990 he played frequently in touring theaters.

Since the 1980s, Pabst occasionally worked in front of the camera, mostly in smaller roles, such as in nine episodes of the crime series Polizeiruf 110 . He also organized readings and other projects.

He is buried in the cemetery of the Dorotheenstadt and Friedrichswerder communities in Berlin-Mitte.
