Clear the stage! is a 7-part family series, broadcast for the first time from October to December 1983 on the first program of the GDR television (DFF).

On and behind the stage, the stories about different artists play in the fictional variety theater "Odeon", which the young Helmut Berger is responsible for in the first episode. At his side is the experienced stage manager Wippe, after whose words "Clear the stage!" The curtain in the theater is raised every evening.

Others

Clear the stage! ran regularly on Fridays at weekly intervals from the end of October 1983 and was repeated on the following day. Another repetition ran from July to September 1986 in the 2nd program of the DFF. All episodes are available on DVD.
