Hans-Joachim Boehm (born October 23, 1920 in Berlin ; † October 12, 2019 there ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Hans-Joachim Boehm attended grammar school and did a commercial apprenticeship. He was first drafted into the Reich Labor Service and later into the Wehrmacht . After the Second World War , he joined the CDU in 1946. He graduated from high school in 1947 and then studied at the Free University of Berlin economy . During his studies, Boehm was regional chairman of the Junge Union Berlin in 1949 and chairman of the General Student Committee (AStA) of the Free University in 1951 . He completed his studies with a degree in economics .

In 1955 Boehm became the personal assistant to the Senator for Finance Friedrich Haas (CDU). After the Berlin election in 1958 , he was elected district councilor for finance in 1959 by the district council in the Steglitz district. From 1962 to 1963 he was Senate Director at the Senator for Federal Affairs Klaus Schütz (SPD). In the 1967 election , Boehm was elected to the Berlin House of Representatives, to which he was a member until 1985.

In 1990 Boehm was honored as the city ​​elder of Berlin .
