Hans-Joachim Höfig
Hans-Joachim Höfig (born December 21, 1915 in Sprottau , Silesia , † December 21, 2006 in Ennepetal -Voerde, North Rhine-Westphalia ) was a German sports official.
In 1951 he was one of the founding members of the basketball department of SSV Hagen . From 1958 to 1964 he was President of the West German Basketball Association . From 1964 to 1973 he was President and since 1986 Honorary President of the German Basketball Federation (DBB).
Since 2007 the DBB federal office in Hagen - Wehringhausen has been called Hans-Joachim-Höfig-Haus in his honor .
