Ingo Weiss

Ingo Weiß (born January 24, 1937 in Neuburg adDonau ) is a German local and state politician ( CSU ).

Life

Weiß spent his youth in Niederleierndorf and attended the high school in Regensburg. After graduating from high school (1958), he studied law in Erlangen and Munich. He passed the two state law exams in 1962 and 1966, respectively. From 1967 he worked in the inner state administration, most recently as Executive Council at the District Office Vilsbiburg .

From November 22, 1970 until his resignation on April 25, 1978, he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament . From May 1, 1978 to April 30, 2002 he was district administrator of the Lower Bavarian district of Straubing-Bogen .

He is married and has three children.

Honorary positions

Before the district reform he was already a member of the Mallersdorf district assembly , from July 1, 1972 until his election as district administrator, he was elected to the same function in the Straubing-Bogen district. From 1993 to 1998, Weiß was chairman of the Euregio Bavarian Forest - Bohemian Forest - Lower Inn . He has been working in the Working Group on European Border Regions since 1993.
