Hans-Joachim Noack
Hans-Joachim Noack (born April 22, 1940 in Berlin ; † August 17, 2020 ) was a German journalist and publicist .
Life
He began his journalistic career in 1968 as a reporter for the Süddeutsche Zeitung and the Frankfurter Rundschau . In 1983 he switched to Spiegel , for which he worked until 2005 - most recently as head of the German Politics department.
He lived with his wife in Hamburg.
