Hans Albert Dietrich

Hans Albert Dietrich (born May 11, 1886 in Erlangen ; † January 3, 1963 ) was a German gynecologist and university professor.

After graduating from the humanistic grammar school in Erlangen, Hans Albert Dietrich studied medicine at the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen and the University of Zurich . In 1905 he became a member of the Corps Onoldia in Erlangen . In 1911 he was awarded a Dr. med. PhD. During the First World War he served as a troop doctor in the field and later as senior physician in the reserve and battalion doctor in Göttingen . He was awarded the Iron Cross, 2nd class . In 1918 he completed his habilitation in gynecology at the Georg August University of Göttingen , which appointed him associate professor in 1923 . In 1925, he was appointed regional chief medical officer to the director of the provincial midwifery school and gynecological clinic in Celle. He has written numerous specialist publications in the field of obstetrics , gynecology and serology .
