Hans Ernst von Sperling

Hans Ernst Sperling , from 1767 von Sperling (* 1696 ; † October 9, 1769 in Balgstädt ) was a Saxon-Weißenfels chief forestry master who had been raised to the imperial aristocracy and was last electoral Saxon chief forestry and game master in Thuringia as well as a manor owner .

Life

He was the son of Georg Kaspar Sperling, heir and freedman on Gorenzen and initially pursued a career in the forestry service of the Duke of Saxony-Weissenfels. After this sideline of the Wettins died out , he became royal Polish and electoral Saxon chief forest and game master in Thuringia.

Balgstädt Castle

On August 26, 1744, Hans Ernst Sperling bought the manor Balgstädt for 4,120 guilders on the harvest and 36,980 guilders on the fief . Since his marriage to Sophia Gertraudte von Sperling, née Gnappert († February 15, 1774 in Balgstädt) had no children, he adopted the son of his wife's brother. His adopted son was the Princely Brunswick Lieutenant Colonel Heinrich Julius Gnappert (1750-1809) in Brunswick. On March 3, 1767, his adoptive father, Hans Ernst Sperling, was raised to the imperial nobility by the emperor in Vienna . He referred to being an agnatic descendant of the Mecklenburg noble family von Sperling . Nevertheless, Kneschke distinguishes between the two families. Together with the above, his adoptive son Hans Ernst Wilhelm Gnappert was ennobled as von Sperling . General Kurt von Sperling is one of her descendants .
