Hans Georg Freund (born October 5, 1905 in Bautzen , † January 1942 missing ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Live and act

After attending the community school in Bautzen, the elementary school in Hochkirch and the upper secondary school in Bautzen, he completed a banking apprenticeship at the Allgemeine Deutsche Kredit-Anstalt in Löbau , Bautzen and Reichenau from 1923 to 1925 . He then worked as a bank clerk at Adea in Neugersdorf and Gera . From 1933 to 1935 he worked as an employee at the Sächsische Werke AG in Zittau .

Freund was politically involved in the NSDAP since the late 1920s. From January 1931 to 1935 he was the local group leader in Reichenau. In 1933 he became community leader and from 1933 to 1935 he served as first community elder in Reichenau near Zittau. In 1935 Freund took over the post of district leader of the NSDAP in Dippoldiswalde .

From March 1936 until his disappearance in 1942, Freund was a member of the National Socialist Reichstag for constituency 30 (Chemnitz-Zwickau) .

Freund has been missing since January 1942.
