Hans H. Pfeifer

Hans-Hermann Pfeifer (born September 16, 1948 in Stuttgart ) is a German local politician ( SPD ).

At the age of 25, Hans H. Pfeifer was elected mayor of Bad Boll . In 1984 he became mayor of Freudenstadt . With the appointment of Freudenstadt as a major district town, Pfeifer carried the title of mayor as mayor from January 1st, 1988. In 1992, Hans H. Pfeifer decided not to run for a second term. In spring 2000 Pfeifer became the first full-time city manager in Stuttgart . In the summer of 2013, he handed over this position to his successor, Bettina Fuchs. From 2009 to 2019 Pfeifer sat for the SPD in the Stuttgart municipal council. On July 28, 2014, Hans Pfeifer was elected to the honorary council of the Bundesliga soccer club VfB Stuttgart by the general assembly. After the football department was outsourced, VfB members elected him to the club's advisory board in 2017. After the resignation of President Wolfgang Dietrich , VfB Stuttgert Pfeifer appointed to the Presidium on an interim basis. With the election of Claus Vogt on December 15, 2019, he automatically resigned his position as a member of the Presidium .
