Hans Heinrich von Elterlein

Johann Heinrich von Elterlein (born March 2, 1624 in Obermittweida , † March 20, 1685 in Kleinpöhla ) was an early modern German entrepreneur and owner of the arrow hammer in Kleinpöhla.

Life

The son of the Hammerherrn from Nuremberg in Kleinpöhla and Obermittweida Heinrich von Elterlein (1576-1640) married Susanna on February 8, 1652, the daughter of the Hammerherr Hieronymus Müller von Berneck from Breitenhof . After the death of his father, von Elterlein took over half of his share of the arrow hammer and bought the other part in 1669 from Hans Heinrich Eberwein from Elterlein, a brother-in-law of his aunt. Shortly before his death in 1684 he commissioned the building of the Herrenhof von Pfeilhammer, which in 1687 under the responsibility of his son and successor Johann Heinrich von Elterlein junior.
