Hans Joachim Fuchs (born May 24, 1903 in Meinerzhagen ; † April 1, 1992 there ) was a German entrepreneur.

Life

Fuchs studied at the Hessian Ludwig University and was reciprocated in the Corps Hassia Gießen in 1923 . After the death of his father Otto Fuchs in 1931, he took over what would later become Otto Fuchs KG . In the time of National Socialism he was a military economic leader . The members of the Meinerzhagen anti-fascist resistance group active in his company were arrested by the secret state police and later murdered. Several witnesses confirm that the Otto Fuchs company employed forced labor: “We had to stand up and the entrepreneurs chose the people they liked, like the slaves. As we found out later, there was our manufacturer Otto Fuchs next to it (it must have been Hans-Joachim Fuchs). "

Fuchs converted his company into a limited partnership in order to run the company on his own , freed from co-determination as entrepreneur and managing director. Fuchs' entrepreneurial successor was his son Otto Rudolph Fuchs in the 1970s .

As the initiator of the school partnership between Figeac and Meinerzhagen signed on September 17, 1966, this document was signed by Mayors Emil Hugo Rövenstrunk, Wilhelm Langemann and Fuchs. The cornerstone of this agreement was the business relationship between the Ratier company in Figeac and the Otto Fuchs company.
