Hans Lassen (politician)

Hans Lassen (born February 11, 1831 in Alsen ; † January 20, 1896 ibid) was a farmer from Northern Schleswig and a politician of the Danish minority in the German Empire .

Life

Hans Lassen was the son of the farm owner Hans Lassen (1805–1880) and his wife Anna Maria (1813–1841). Was let farm owner and farmer in Lysabbel in district special castle . From 1867 to 1889 he was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein Provincial Parliament . He was a member of the board of the language and electoral association and influenced Danish national politics. From 1876 to 1878 and from 1879 to 1896 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives .

In the 5th electoral term of the German Reichstag from 1881 to 1884 he was a member of the Reichstag constituency Schleswig-Holstein 1 ( Hadersleben , Sonderburg ). He did not belong to any parliamentary group in the Reichstag. He represented the views of the Danish North Schleswig in the Reichstag, but played no major role in politics.
