Hans Peter Sfiligoi (born October 20, 1943 in Graz , † November 28, 2006 in Vienna ) was an Austrian painter , graphic artist , costume designer and art therapist .

Born in the middle of the Second World War, Sfiligoi grew up in very poor conditions. His father was employed by Waagner-Biro after being taken prisoner by the Soviets , and his mother was a seamstress, so they enabled her son to get a solid education. After attending the Realschule ( BRG Kepler ) in Graz, Sfiligoi studied philosophy at the Karl-Franzens University Graz from 1962 to 1969 and attended lectures in history, German, Slavic and comparative linguistics. As a painter he is self-taught . His first exhibition was in the Galerie Moser in Graz in 1969. From 1974 to 1987 Sfiligoi lived in Salzburg, from 1987 in Vienna.

In 1989 he trained as a therapeutic masseur and then worked at the Lainz Hospital in Vienna as a therapeutic masseur and art therapist. In addition, he dealt with the Chinese Tuina massage therapy with Alexander Chao-Lai Meng at the Elisabeth Hospital in Vienna.

He also worked as an illustrator , set designer and costume designer, e.g. B. for ballet productions in Graz, Vienna and Salzburg.
