Hans Stießberger
Hans Stießberger (born March 31, 1920 in Haar ; † August 15, 2008 ) was a German local politician and entrepreneur who distinguished himself through his social commitment in the community of Haar.
Hans Stießberger was born in Haar as the son of a sawmill owner . In 1950 he began his community political commitment with the establishment of the non-party interest group Haar , which after the following local election with Hans Brush provided the mayor. From 1952 to 1996 Hans Stießberger was a member of the Haar municipal council, from 1956 for the CSU . In addition, from 1960 he was a member of the district council of the district of Munich and temporarily its financial advisor.
Hans Stießberger held the offices of building consultant for Haar and from 1966 to 1984 the second mayor of the community. During his term of office the construction of the Haarer open-air swimming pool and the housing estate on Jagdfeldring fell. He was a volunteer on the administrative board of the Kreissparkasse Munich and in the community's volunteer fire brigade , temporarily as its commander .
Hans Stießberger has received several awards for his commitment. He received the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon and the ring of honor of the district of Munich and is an honorary citizen of the community of Haar. The Hans-Stießberger-Strasse in Haar is named after him.
Hans Stießberger is buried in the cemetery on Gronsdorfer Straße in Haar.
