Hans Wichelhaus

Hans Wichelhaus (born September 14, 1918 in Wülfrath ; † October 30, 2004 ) was a German politician ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school , he completed a commercial apprenticeship and in 1937 passed the commercial assistant examination. He then worked as a commercial clerk. After labor service , military service and imprisonment, he studied. Wichelhaus passed the first and second teacher examinations as well as the examination for the teaching post at secondary schools in order to then work in the school service. He became a member of the CDU in 1964.

He was married and had three children.

From May 28, 1975 to May 29, 1985 Wichelhaus was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was directly elected in constituency 026 Oberbergischer Kreis and 025 Oberbergischer Kreis I.

From 1964 to 1975 he was a member of the council of the city of Gummersbach and from 1964 a member of the district council of the Oberbergischer Kreis .

Public offices

From November 24, 1969 to October 19, 1989 he was district administrator of the Oberbergischer Kreis.
