Hans Zippert (born March 16, 1957 in Bielefeld ) is a German journalist and satirist .

Life

Zippert was born the son of a Sparkasse employee and a nurse and grew up with his mother, as his parents had not lived together since he was born. He passed his Abitur at the Ratsgymnasium Bielefeld with a final grade of 3.2, after being sat three times. While still at school he produced a satirical magazine called Dreck , which u. a. was sold in restaurants and last had a circulation of 3,000 copies.

From 1987 Zippert was editor and from 1990 to 1995 editor-in-chief of the satirical magazine Titanic . From 1996 to 1998 he worked for FAZ magazine and various magazines.

Zippert has been writing the daily column around the world since 1999, "Zippert zapping", for which he was awarded the Henri Nannen Prize in 2007 and 2011 . In addition, reports appeared in the magazine Stern . For Die Welt am Sonntag he writes Zippert's Wort zum Sonntag every week .

Zippert lives as a freelance book author in Oberursel near Frankfurt am Main. He has been married since 1991.
