Hans von Lucke

Wilhelm Ludwig Hans von Lucke (born October 16, 1842 in Mückenhain ; † February 16, 1911 there ) was a German administrative officer, manor owner and member of parliament.

Life

Hans von Lucke was born as the son of the manor owner Friedrich Rudolph Lucke (1804–1856) and Agnes Sophie Mathilde, nee. Jug from Nidda (1820-1850). He studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg and the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Berlin . In 1864 he became a member of the Corps Saxo-Borussia Heidelberg . After graduating, he entered the Prussian civil service. From 1885 to 1907 he was District Administrator of the district Rothenburg (Ob. Laus.) .

Lucke was the owner of the manors Mückenhain and Biehain . He was a state elder , landscape director of the Görlitz principality landscape , a non-permanent member of the Reich Insurance Office and state officer of the Prussian Upper Lusatia . He had served in the cavalry and was last lieutenant in the Landwehr cavalry.

From 1879 to 1885 and from 1908 to 1911 he was a member of the German Conservative Party for the constituency of Liegnitz 9 (Rothenburg-Hoyerswerda) in the Prussian House of Representatives . He was also a member of the Provincial Committee and the Provincial Parliament of Silesia .

Lucke was married to Sophie Marianne Kühne (1847–1905). Her son Philipp von Lucke took over the Mückenhain manor and, like his father, also became district administrator of the Rothenburg district.
