Hansfritz Werner

Hansfritz Werner (born October 8, 1894 in Norden in East Friesland , † October 29, 1959 in Dresden ) was a German draftsman and sculptor .

Life

Werner initially studied at the Dresden School of Applied Arts and later at the Dresden Art Academy . He was a master student of Professor Georg Wrba and worked in his master's studio. In addition to his sculptures, he also made templates and models for the Meissen porcelain factory . Drawings by him are in the Bautzen City Museum . Werner died in Dresden on October 29, 1959 and was buried in the Inner Neustädter Friedhof .
