Hansjörg Goop

Hansjörg Goop (also Hans-Jörg Goop ) (born December 21, 1956 in Schellenberg ) is a Liechtenstein politician ( VU ).

biography

Hansjörg Goop was born in 1956 as the son of the employee Ernst Goop and his wife Hilda (nee Senti). He had six siblings. Goop attended secondary school in Eschen from 1969 to 1972 . He then completed an apprenticeship as a car mechanic from 1972 to 1976. From 1985 to 1989 and 1990 to 1991 he attended the Vaduz University of Applied Sciences. There he received a degree in 1989 Dipl. Ing. FH in engineering and in 1991 graduated as a production engineer LIS / SIB. After working as operations manager at Maschinenfabrik Flums from 1990 to 1998 , he founded his own company in Balzers in 1998 .

From October 1993 to 1997 he was deputy member of the state parliament for the Fatherland Union . He was then a member of the state parliament for his party from 1997 to 2001. During his time in the Landtag of the Principality of Liechtenstein , Goop headed the Liechtenstein delegations to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and the OSCE and was a member of the Finance Commission.

From 1995 to 2004, Goop, who had been a member of FC Ruggell since 1980 , was the president of this football club . In 2005 he received honorary membership of FC Ruggell. From 1996 to 2001 he was Vice President and from 2005 to 2011 he was Party Secretary of the Patriotic Union.

Goop is married and has two children.
