Harald Fricke

Harald Fricke (* 28. March 1949 in Braunschweig ; † 20th June 2012 ) was a German germanistischer literary scholar .

Life

From 1984 Fricke taught as a full professor for German literature at the University of Freiburg (Switzerland). He was a member of the Academy of Sciences in Göttingen and co-editor of the real dictionary of German literary studies .

His main research interests were the poetics of genres and spellings, linguistic poetics, analytical philosophy of science of literature, aphorism and poetry.
