Harald Knudsen

Harald Knudsen (born April 26, 1941 in Münster ) is a Protestant theologian .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1960, he studied Protestant theology with a focus on systematic theology and philosophy of religion in Münster, Tübingen , Heidelberg and Berlin . After receiving his doctorate in 1969 with Paul Wrzecionko as Dr. theol. in Münster he completed the vicariate (1970–1971) in the Bodelschwinghschen Anstalten in Bethel . From 1971 to 1972 he was a pastor in a miners' congregation in Dortmund. In 1972/1973 he was pastor in a hospital for the chronically ill in Berlin . From 1973 to 1977 he was a research assistant at the Church University of Berlin with Johannes Wirsching (Systematic Theology). After completing an apprenticeship as a psychoanalyst and group psychotherapist in 1977, he became pastor in the Karl Bonhoeffer Psychiatric Clinic in Berlin in 1977 , and from 1982 to 1992 parish priest .

After his habilitation in 1980, he taught at the church college. Since 1991 he has been an adjunct professor for systematic theology at the Humboldt University in Berlin . Since 1992 he has been pastor in the State Clinic for Neurology and Psychiatry in Brandenburg an der Havel .
