Harald Kröner

Harald Kröner (* 1962 in Pforzheim ) is a German draftsman and exhibition curator .

Career

Kröner studied free graphics with Rudolf Schoofs at the Stuttgart Art Academy from 1984 to 1990 . In 1994 he received a scholarship from the Kunststiftung Baden-Württemberg and in 2005/06 the scholarship from the Cité Internationale des Arts Paris .

In addition to his non-representational collages and ink drawings, he has realized works in public spaces and in the church sector. These include candlesticks, crosses and principal pieces for churches. In 2007 he designed two Passage light installations in Heidenheim as part of the sculpture symposium Werk 07, in 2008 the farewell room in the Diakoniekrankenhaus in Mannheim. He also created light installations in the Weiherhof day care center in Karlsruhe and in an underground car park in Pforzheim.

Since 2010, Kröner has curated exhibitions, including a. 2013 and 2017 in the municipal gallery Pforzheim . He has been curating at the Tankturm Heidelberg since 2015.
