Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga (short Lego Star Wars: DKS , natural notation : LEGO STAR WARS THE COMPLETE SAGA , English Original title: Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga , shortly Lego Star Wars: TCS ) is an action-adventure - computer game , Developed by Traveller's Tales and published by LucasArts or Feral Interactive ( macOS ) or Traveller's Tales ( handheld and mobile versions) in November 2007 for Microsoft Windows , PlayStation 3 , Wii and Xbox 360 . In 2010 the game was published by Feral Interactive for macOS and by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment in 2007 for the Nintendo DS , in 2013 for iOS and 2015 for Android . The game is a combination of its two predecessors, the first Lego Star Wars computer game in the Lego Star Wars series called Lego Star Wars and its successor Lego Star Wars II: The Classic Trilogy , and includes the plot of the first six Star Wars films . The sequel is Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars .

Gameplay

Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga includes all three episodes of the original and prequel trilogies of Star Wars. Each episode consists of six different levels, making the game a total of 36 levels. There is no set order in which the episodes must be played, with the exception of the very first level. After completing the first level, all episodes are available from the beginning, so the player can decide which one to play first. Only the levels of the respective episodes have to be unlocked one after the other. Almost all objects in the game world are made of Lego bricks and can be destroyed. At the beginning and after each restart of the game, the player spawns in a lobby, the so-called Mos Eisley Cantina , in which the player selects the episodes and levels, buy characters, tips and mini-games, put together his own character and in the Nintendo DS version can compete against other players locally.

Differences between the versions

The Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC versions are the only ones that support Full HD resolution and co-op mode . The Wii version supports motion, while the Nintendo DS version supports touch -sensitive inputs, which are made possible by the touchscreen- based screen of the Nintendo DS. The Nintendo DS version is also the only version in which two players can compete locally against each other and which - probably due to technical limitations - contains slightly modified cutscenes.
