The Harbach is an orographic right and southern tributary of the Ahr in Rhineland-Palatinate ( Germany ) almost ten kilometers long .

The Harbach carries the name Baucherbach in the upper reaches , it is also shown on some maps as Fützbach .

The Harbach rises about one kilometer east of Königsfeld . The source is located on the eastern slope of the Kirchberg ( ⊙ 285.6  m above sea  level ) at an altitude of approx. 258  m above sea level. NHN . From here the stream flows to the northeast and passes under the A 61 motorway . He continues his way to the northeast along the state road 86 to Ahrenthal Castle . It swings to the east and takes up the tributaries Sonnenbach and Gappentalbach, in order to then flow along the state road 82 to the north, towards Sinzig . After reaching Sinzig, it is piped up and flows into the Ahr flowing into the west of the Rhine .

Catchment area and tributaries

The 14.3 km² catchment area drains via the Ahr and Rhine to the North Sea .
