Hargicourt is a commune Déléguée in the northern French municipality of Trois-Rivieres with 403 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Somme in the region of Hauts-de-France .

geography

The municipality, separated from the neighboring municipality of Pierrepont-sur-Avre only by the small river, is located in the valley of the Trois Doms at its confluence with the Avre on the departmental roads D83 and D483, around 11 km north of Montdidier . The Amiens -Montdidier railway runs through the municipality with a stop.

history

The community received the Croix de guerre 1914-1918 as an award .

The municipality of Hargicourt merged with Contoire and Pierrepont-sur-Avre on January 1, 2019 to form the Commune nouvelle Trois-Rivières. Since then it has had the status of a Commune déléguée. The municipality of Hargicourt belonged to the arrondissement of Montdidier and the canton of Roye .
