Life

As an agent, Edington represented the actresses Greta Garbo and Barbara Kent , whom he had built up to become the stars of the silent film era. Before that, he was married to Arda O'Connor for the first time, but they divorced in 1925. From 1937 Edington also worked as a film producer and was responsible for the production of the early Hitchcock films Mr. and Mrs. Smith and Suspicion . He was nominated for an Oscar in 1942 for the production of the latter .
