The Harsleber Bach is a tributary of the Hellbach in the northern Harz foreland .

Renaturation

At the Harsleber Bach an attempt was made to implement a compromise between intensive agricultural use and nature conservation concerns. The acceptance is still low. There was destruction of parts of the riparian strip , wanton destruction of woodland and browsing damage caused by animals of the adjacent land. Therefore, border protection measures were subsequently carried out. Garbage dumping and the theft of the oak stakes used to secure the border are still a problem.
