The Harvey Cirque is cirques with a small glacier of the southern part of Darwin Mountains in Transantarctic Mountains . It lies between Scheuermann Spur and Corell Cirque . To a small extent, the Bergkessel is a transit station for the ice masses from the Prebble Icefalls to the Hatherton Glacier .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the basin in 2001 after the American geologist Ralph P. Harvey of Case Western Reserve University , who was involved in the Antarctic Search for Meteorites program between 1992 and 2001 .
