The Haselbach is a right tributary of the Pulsnitz in Saxony .
The source of the Haselbach is located above the scholarship on Ohorner Flur, not far from the Pulsnitz source. Then the brook winds to the black pond area and crosses the Schweingrund in Steina . With a total length of around twelve kilometers, the Haselbach - namesake of the municipality Haselbachtal - flows through the place in almost its entire length before it flows into the Pulsnitz at the border between Reichenbach and Reichenau .
14 tributaries, mostly ditches from forests and ponds, feed the Haselbach on its course. The largest inflow is the Weißbach.
At normal water levels, the Haselbach in Häslich brings about 800 liters of water per second to the valley; that is around 2,900 m³ per hour.

The spring is located above the grant, in the midst of stately deciduous trees. It is bordered and covered with fountain rings. The scholarship is located on Ohorner Flur and consists of two houses and three small, completely muddy ponds through which the Haselbach paves its way. Until a few years ago, the water from the spring was used by the local residents as drinking water. Only after a particularly dry summer let the spring dry up did the houses receive the drinking water connection from Ohorn.
