Hasenboseroth

Hasenboseroth is a district of the city of Königswinter in the Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia . It belongs to the Oberpleis district and mainly to the Hasenpohl district ; on December 31, 2019, it had 85 residents.

geography

The hamlet of Hasenboseroth is located immediately southwest of the center of Oberpleis, east of the federal highway 3 . The village extends to about 155  m above sea level. NHN on a sloping terrain to the north together with the Lützbach running on the outskirts . State road 268 ( Oberdollendorf - Thomasberg - Uckerath ) runs north . The closest localities include Oberpleis in the north, Kellersboseroth in the south-east, (on the opposite side of the motorway) Kippenhohn in the south-west, Thomasberg in the west and Bellinghausen in the north-west.

history

Hasenboseroth belonged to the parish Oberpleis in the Bergisches Amt Blankenberg . After the dissolution of the Duchy of Berg in 1806, Hasenboseroth was assigned to the Oberpleis mayor ( Mairie Oberpleis until 1813 ), which from 1816 belonged to the Siegburg district . In the context of censuses , Hasenboseroth was listed as a farm until at least 1843, when it comprised ten residential buildings . From 1846 the village belonged to the politically independent municipality of Oberpleis.

A clay pit , which was in operation until after the Second World War, was of economic importance for the place . At the end of the 1970s, during the construction of the Oberpleis bypass, Hasenboserother Straße was relocated in order to redesign the confluence with the L 268.

Listed wayside cross, Pelzerweg 3 (2014)

As a monument under monument stands a stone cross ( votive ) on Pelzerweg from the year 1919. It consists of sandstone , is in oil paint in focus and has the design of a link Cross with cast iron body .
